Real-time NetSuite inventory, on every page

Stock levels come from NetSuite, by location, and checkout validates availability again before the sales order is created.

Showing the wrong stock level costs you twice: once when a shopper leaves because an item looks unavailable, and again when you cancel an order for an item you did not have. AwaCommerce Next shows inventory straight from NetSuite and checks it again at checkout.

How it works

  1. NetSuite is the only inventory record. Quantities come from your NetSuite locations. Nothing is entered in the storefront.
  2. Changes flow in real time. When an item changes in NetSuite, the storefront is updated without waiting for a nightly or hourly batch.
  3. Pages stay fast. The storefront reads from a fast, read-optimized copy kept in sync with NetSuite, so product and listing pages load quickly.
  4. Checkout re-checks. Before the sales order is created, availability is validated against NetSuite again, along with price, tax, and shipping.

What shoppers see

  • Live availability on product pages and listings
  • Stock by location, so buyers can see where an item is available (Advanced B2B or Advanced B2C)
  • Back in stock alerts that notify shoppers when an item returns (Advanced B2C)
  • Click and collect from a store that has the item (Stores pack)

Why batch sync oversells

Many storefronts connected to NetSuite update inventory on a schedule. Between runs, the store shows stock that may already be sold through another channel, such as a sales rep order, a marketplace, or a retail counter. Fast-moving items oversell, and your team spends time cancelling and apologizing.

Real-time sync with a final check at checkout closes that gap. Read the full explanation in real-time inventory sync between NetSuite and your online store.

Works with the rest of NetSuite

  • Matrix items: each child item has its own availability, shown when the shopper picks options.
  • Multiple sites: each storefront or portal can show the inventory that matters for its subsidiary and locations. See multi-site ecommerce.
  • Subscriptions: repeat orders check stock first; out-of-stock items retry for a few days, then that delivery is skipped (Subscriptions pack).

Frequently asked questions

Does AwaCommerce Next show NetSuite inventory in real time?

Yes. Inventory comes from NetSuite locations and is updated in real time, with no batch window, and checkout validates availability against NetSuite again before the order is created.

Can shoppers see stock by store or warehouse?

Yes. Stock by location is included with Advanced B2B or Advanced B2C.

What happens if an item sells out while it is in a cart?

Checkout checks availability against NetSuite before creating the sales order, so the shopper is told before the order is placed instead of after.

Do we need middleware for inventory sync?

No. The SuiteApp connects your NetSuite account directly, with no third-party middleware.
