Frequently asked questions

Which checkout layouts can we choose?

Three, set per site in Admin: a modal window over the current page, one-page checkout, or multi-step checkout with separate shipping and payment steps. On phones, modal checkout opens as one page.

Are shipping rates live from NetSuite?

Yes. Checkout shows live UPS, FedEx, and USPS rates or rate tables from NetSuite without saving sales orders. Pacejet is also supported, including for guests.

Which wallets and pay over time options are supported?

Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Pay Later through Braintree, and Affirm pay over time for US orders in USD. All are included on the store channel.

Can we charge the card when the order ships?

Yes. With charge when billed, the card is authorized at checkout and charged when NetSuite bills the order by cash sale or invoice. ACH, terms, and subscriptions still charge at checkout.

Can we add our own checkout fields?

Yes, on Store Professional. Add text, number, date, dropdown, and other fields before or after any checkout step, with required and pattern validation. Answers are saved on the NetSuite sales order.
